John McQueen has joined consultants Mayer Brown as National Lead for local authority work. He specialises in strategy and design of active travel infrastructure, low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs), and liveable communities. McQueen was previously Technical Director at Phil Jones Associates with responsibility for their London office.
His portfolio includes delivery of public realm and infrastructure schemes such as Turnpike Lane DIY Streets and Enfield’s Bush Hill Park Cycleway.
He was instrumental in developing an LTN prioritisation process, which was trialled in Southampton and Greenwich.
