Leicester City Council has announced that work will start this month to install a red route on the A6 to “control dangerous and inconsiderate parking”.
The ‘no stopping order’ – along the full length of Abbey Lane and St Margaret’s Way – will also reduce congestion and keep traffic flowing, said the council.
