In what is seen as positioning ahead of the rollout of franchising there, Merseyside independent bus operator Huyton Travel has been bought by Austrailian owned Kelsian Group subsidiary Tower Transit. The deal, involving over 30 buses, gives the buyer a asset to develop in the Liverpool City Region bus market.
