A new project is to explore how linking health records and road traffic collision data could help reduce road deaths.
The DfT and Road Safety Trust have awarded £500,000 to TRL and University Hospital Southampton for the Data Sustains Life project. It will collate a range of data over the next two years to build a “holistic view of the causes and consequences of road crashes in Great Britain”.
