TfW sheds light on cost savings from discontinuous electrification

Transport for Wales has shed light on some of the cost savings it has made from choosing discontinuous electrification on the Core Valley Lines. Interest in the concept is growing, and DfT Rail Minister Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill voiced enthusiasm last month.
