The University of Sheffield said it has directly removed almost 2,400 commuting journeys in the last year by offering free coffees and other rewards in return for staff leaving their cars at home.
Through the BetterPoints app, which the University offers to all staff and students, users get reward points for making active and sustainable travel choices throughout the year.
