Go Ahead has announced a £500m investment for 1,200 UK-made zero emission buses, to decarbonise its fleet, including creating a new dedicated manufacturing line and partnership with Northern Ireland manufacturer Wrightbus.
The Government is linking the order to its International Investment Summit, and Transport Secretary Loiuse Haigh’s plan for a new UK Bus Manufacturing Expert Panel.
