Transport Minister Ken Skates has talked to insurers about the possibility of policy premiums being reduced in Wales because 20mph replaced 30mph as the default speed limit in September. In the Senedd, Labour MS Joyce Watson referred to insurer esure having seen a 20% drop in claims from car drivers in Wales in the last quarter of 2023.
