Bus fares must rise to maintain current services, says TfWM

Fares for day and season bus tickets in the West Midlands are set to rise by an average of 6% at the end of June to offset rising costs, say bus operators in the region.  

Under the changes, the nbus day ticket will rise by 30p to £4.80 and the four week fare will go up from £60 to £64. The fare increases have been agreed by all bus operators in the Transport for West Midlands (TfWM) area.
