Truck parking facilities across England are set to receive £16.5m worth of improvements.

Lorry drivers are set to benefit from more parking spaces, better welfare facilities and safer rest areas.

Roads minister Guy Opperman confirmed that 38 truckstops across England will invest £6m from the Department for Transport (DfT), with a further £10.5m coming from industry.
