All Tube and rail fares in the capital will be off-peak on Fridays during a three-month trial due to begin in March. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said the trial would help Transport for London (TfL) and rail operators to better understand how off-peak fares on a Friday could help drive ridership and boost the economy.
As part of the additional £147m allocated to TfL as part of the Mayor’s draft budget, £24m has been allocated to the trial.
