The revised Welsh Transport Appraisal Guidance (WelTAG) framework, now published, was issued for consultation last year alongside the final evaluation of the new default 20mph speed limit in urban areas. This new guidance will support transport planners in Wales to develop and appraise proposals across all transport modes in line with the policy commitments set out in Llwybr Newydd, the Wales Transport Strategy, said Waters.
