NIO powers up third-generation battery swap technology

Electric vehicle maker NIO is to roll-out of its third-generation PSS 3.0 PSS battery swapping technology across Europe. This follows the announcement of two new partnerships with Chinese companies Geely Holding and Changan Auto.

Last week NIO, Geely Holding and Changan Auto announced that they would cooperate on battery swapping standards, technology, network expansion and operation, swappable model development, and battery asset management.
