The expected agreement has been concluded for the sale of Arriva Group to I Squared Capital by current owner DeutscheBahn (DB). Completion is expected during 2024, subject to conditions and approvals (LTT877).
Arriva, whose headquarters is in Sunderland, operates bus and rail services around the UK and Europe and was acquired by the state-owned German rail operator on an international expansion drive in 2010.
