Groundwork designed to deter parking by bins

Pupils at a primary school in Edinburgh have created artwork to discourage anti-social parking. This includes a groundwork designed to deter cars from blocking communal bins.

The artworks were put up pupils at St Mary’s RC Primary, which has introduced a School Street to restrict traffic at the start and end of the day. They were created as part of Leith Connections, designed in collaboration with the community, school children and art firms Bigg Design and Fun Makes Good.
