Westminster City Council is set to refine its £60m plan to improve Oxford Street following a consultation, which ended on 31 August.
It is due to publish its amended plans later this year. The council has pledged to make pavements wider, create “amenity places” for rest and play, improve pedestrian safety and security, provide north/south cycle connections across Oxford Street and plant more trees and greenery “where possible”.
