One day travelcards are set to no longer be available in London from 21 January 2024. London Mayor Sadiq Khan said he reached the decision because, under the current Travelcard Agreement, TfL is underfunded by about £40m a year.
The Mayor said that should the DfT and train operating companies agree to cover this shortfall then one day travelcards will remain available.
