Bargoed bypass, Caerphilly

Caerphilly County Borough Council is inviting tenders for the construction of the Bargoed bypass. The 2.2km single carriageway road would link the A469 at Lewis School, Pengam with Station Road, Bargoed and provide links to Bargoed town centre and Aberbargoed. The scheme would also include regeneration work in Bargoed town centre with additional car parking and link roads. Work could start in September and take two-and-a-half years to complete.
