The DfT has accepted a recommendation by the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) that all Local Transport Authorities (LTAs) should have long-term infrastructure strategies for the towns in their areas.
In response to recommendations set out by the NIC in a report in September 2021, the DfT has now published its response.
