Clean tech company Clipper Automotive has converted diesel-powered black cabs into all-electric taxis with the vehicles set to serve the residents of Oxford.
Oxford City Council have removed barriers to licensing for zero-emission taxis and issued them with Hackney Carriage Numbers to start operating in the city centre.
Clipper Automotive created zero emissions taxis by upcycling London Hackney Carriages and converting them too fully electric rather than hybrid status.
