Confirming a requirement for an electric vehicle charging strategy to be published as a detailed supporting document to each LTP, DfT’s head of funding reform and delivery Nicole Barton has explained. 

She explained this should include a detailed action plan setting out how public chargepoints will be provided, supported and aligned with the other transport and energy needs of the area.
