UPS has ordered new electric cargo bikes for a last-mile delivery hub project it is running in Germany with car park operator APCOA Parking.
UPS is ordering 10 Onos e-cargo bike manufactured by Onomotion for use in Hamburg and Cologne.
APCOA Parking Deutschland provides space so the logistics company can set up microdepots where packages can temporarily stored before they are then delivered by e-cargo bike.
In Hamburg, UPS has already been using seven of the vehicles since the end of February....
