A new messenger service has been launched by East Midlands Railway (EMR) which sends customers personalised journey updates including details of real-time disruption and alternative travel routes via Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.
Customers can access the service by going to the live journey information page on EMR's website and clicking ‘Keep Me Updated’ or searching for EMR directly on Facebook Messenger.
