The UK government believes short-term improvements to lorry parking and improvements the training process for HGV drivers will encourage more people back to the logistics sector as well as attracting new recruits.

The government has announced a plan to work with key stakeholders to identify lorry parks across the country where facilities such as temporary toilets, showers and catering can be delivered in the coming months.
