MHCLG seeks views on private parking reforms

Technical consultation on new Parking Code covers issues such as cost of parking charges and debt collection fees

A consultation on the detail of the levels of private parking charges and an appeals charter has been launched following the Parking Code Enforcement Framework consultation.

The latest Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) consultation covers proposed discount rates for early payment, the level of additional debt collection fees, and an appeals charter to help deliver a fair, proportionate and consistent system.
