Oxford becomes DPD's first all-electric city

Logistics company launches Vision 25 green delivery plan

Parcels delivered in Oxford by logistics company DPD are now being made using only electric vehicles from a new “eco-depot” in Bicester.

Oxford is acting as the pathfinder for Vision 25, DPD’s pledge to “deliver green” in 25 UK towns and cities that cover 25% of the UK population by 2025. The all-electric service started in Oxford on 27 July with another UK nine towns and cities confirmed to launch later this year.
