The DfT has announced it has received 35 expressions of interest in its £120m scheme to help transport authorities buy zero emissions buses.
The Zero Emission Bus Regional Areas (ZEBRA) scheme, which forms part of the £3bn National Bus Strategy published in March (LTT 19 March), will deliver up to 500 zero-emission buses, said the DfT.
