Park & ride boost for Mills Hill station

Park & ride capacity at a rail station in Middleton, Greater Manchester, is set to more than double. Work to increase the number of spaces at Mills Hill from 24 unlined spaces to 58 spaces, including three fully accessible and three extra-wide bays.

Other improvements being made to the facility include new lighting and CCTV, resurfacing, motorbike parking, drainage and a one-way traffic system. Designated walking routes with tactile paving will also be added to improve accessibility.
