The owners of older vehicles will be charged for driving in parts of Bradford from next year under the council’s plan for a Class C clean air zone (CAZ).
Councillors this month approved the introduction of the CAZ on 4 January. It will cover inner and central Bradford bounded by the A6177, extending northwest along the A650 corridor to encompass Shipley and Saltaire (LTT 21 Feb 20).
Owners of non-compliant vehicles will pay a daily charge for driving in the zone, unless they qualify...
