Public transport carried less than four per cent of trips in Greater Manchester during January when the national lockdown to control Covid-19 was reimposed, according to Transport for Greater Manchester.
Bob Morris, TfGM’s chief operating officer, said an estimated 129.4 million trips were made across the transport network in January, down 25.2 per cent from the 162.1 million in December.
