Transport for the North is to prepare a new strategic transport plan, though it is not expected to be complete until early 2024.
TfN says it can deliver most of next year’s work programme for the new plan despite the cut to its core grant funding from the DfT (LTT 22 Jan). It plans to make more use of in-house staff rather than consultants.
