The London Borough of Croydon is weighing up whether to scrap a controversial low traffic neighbourhood (LTN) street closure scheme, or replace the physical barriers with camera enforcement. The latter option would enable local residents to be exempted from the restrictions.
Almost 3,000 respondents to a consultation on the Crystal Palace and South Norwood temporary LTN have told the council to remove the existing scheme. About 1,000 want it retained.
