Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has approved tighter limits on the amount of parking provided in new residential developments.
The unitary council, created in 2019, consulted in September on draft parking standards based on four zones: A (main centres); B (district centres); C (business hubs); and D (suburban/rural locations) (LTT 21 Sep 20).
Some members of the public criticised the proposals but the council says the development community was more supportive.
