Man killed neighbour in parking row

A man killed his neighbour after a row over parking in the Scottish town of Wishaw in North Lanarkshire.

Craig McCarroll, 29, was accused of murdering Thomas Nelson, 24, but prosecutors accepted a guilty plea to the reduced charge of culpable homicide on the grounds of provocation. The two friends fell out when people visiting Nelson's home started parking next to McCarroll's house during lockdown, causing access problems.
