Driver gripes about potholes on the rise

More than half of drivers believe the condition of local roads has got worse despite the drop in car use due to the pandemic, says a survey by RAC. Only 6% felt the state of local roads has improved the last year. There has been a sharp rise in dissatisfaction about grass and foliage maintenance on local roadsides, with 22% saying this is one reason conditions are worse.
