Brighton & Hove City Council is to borrow £1.17m to expand the city’s public bike hire scheme, including the addition of e-bikes.
The ‘BTN?Bikeshare’ scheme was launched in 2017 and currently features a fleet of 600 bikes based at 73 hubs. Officers reported this week that, since launch, 1,173,025 hires had been made.
