A limited recovery in travel demand across England is expected from 2 December when the national Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, that have been in place since 5 November, end.
Under the national restrictions, people should not travel unless for a specific reason, such as education, work or a caring responsibility.
The DfT’s latest data suggests GB travel demand is largely unchanged since the 9 November (LTT 13 Nov). Data for Monday 23 November shows:
