Transport for Wales could become a bus operator for the whole of Wales, Lee Waters, the deputy minister for economy and transport, has suggested.

Waters told the National Assembly he was disappointed that the Government had been forced to withdraw the Bus Services (Wales) Bill this summer because of the need to focus on Covid-19 and the UK’s withdrawal from the EU. The Bill  included powers to allow councils to run their own bus services.
