Scotrail has unveiled the interiors of its new train carriages for carrying bikes and large sporting equipment on rural routes.
The train operator is converting five Class 153 single carriage diesel trains to carry up to 20 bikes. Ski equipment and heavy luggage can also be accommodated. They will initially be used on the West Highland Line (Glasgow-Oban/Fort William/Mallaig).
The trains are being modified by Brodie Engineering in Kilmarnock....
