The London Borough of Redbridge has scrapped its temporary low traffic  neighbourhood (LTN) residential street closure projects after a public backlash. 

Labour-controlled Redbridge introduced the  restrictions in the Barkingside South and Cranbrook West areas. Wooden planters were installed at junctions to prevent through traffic.
