Buckinghamshire coucil is to introduce parking charges at Handy Cross park-and-ride car park near High Wycombe, though users of the facility’s bus service into High Wycombe will not have to pay.
The 396-space facility opened in 2015. Daytime occupancy before Covid was about 40-50 per cent.
As well as being served by a bus service into High Wycombe, the car park is served by coach services and provides parking for adjacent businesses and schools.
