Brighton & Hove City Council has shelved a planned procurement of a long-term bus and taxi shelter advertising contract because of Covid-19. The council last year approved a plan to procure a 12-year contract with up to three further years of extensions. The invitation to tender should have been issued this spring but the council says the two major and “only viable” potential bidders (presumably Clear Channel and JCDecaux – Ed) requested an indefinite pause to the process...
