The Scottish Government’s efforts to sell Glasgow Prestwick Airport in Ayrshire have been thwarted by Covid-19. Transport cabinet secretary Michael Matheson said the preferred bidder “does not wish to complete the purchase of the business at this time”. “Scottish ministers will reflect upon future options,” he said.
