Bus and light rail ‘need long-term Covid financial support’

The Government must give bus and light rail operators long-term financial support to cover losses from Covid-19 or services could go into meltdown, according to a report for the Urban Transport Group.

Consultant Steer says financial support will be needed until at least March 2022.
