TfL reports 47% KSI fall during lockdown

The number of people killed or seriously injured on London’s roads almost halved during the first four months of Covid-19 restrictions, says Transport for London. 

Road user KSIs in the capital were down 47 per cent in the period 20 March to 15 July compared with the same period of 2019. Fatalities fell from 42 to 28, almost entirely a result of fewer pedestrian deaths.
