The Scottish Government is to invest more than £500m in active travel infrastructure over five years as part of its recovery plan from Covid-19. 

In response to the fall in car usage and rise active travel during lockdown, the Scottish Government has been working with the walking and cycling charity Sustrans to develop a programme of road reallocation measures. The injection of new funding will now allow local authorities to review these temporary infrastructure projects...
