The West Midlands Combined Authority is considering whether to appoint a new cycling and walking ambassador. Track cyclist Shanaze Reade was appointed to the role in March 2019 but her contract ended as planned on 31 May. “The role of cycling and walking ambassador is now under review,” said officers.
