 
				
				
			
			Thousands of rental cars have been destroyed after a fire at a car park in the USA. More than 3,500 vehicles were burnt out by a blaze that swept across the 15-acre surface lot at Southwest Florida International Airport in Fort Myers on 3 April.
It took firefighters 18 hours to get the blaze under control. Helicopters were brought in to support fire trucks. It is understood that no one was in any of the cars and that 3,850 vehicles were not damaged.
