The West Midlands Combined Authority has withdrawn the ability for concessionary pass-holders to use their passes before 9.30 on Mondays to Fridays. The time restriction was removed during lockdown to allow passholders to access supermarkets during the hours when opening was reserved for the elderly only. The concession was terminated in the West Midlands on 1 June to ease capacity pressures on peak time services
