You’ve read LTT – now join in our next online conversation!

It’s a challenging time for the world of local transport, and for professionals needing to isolate themselves from colleagues and fellow practitioners in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

At LTT we recognise the important need for a place for individuals to still ‘meet’ and explore the current unprecedented potential transport impacts of the virus in the short, medium and long terms. 

We had a very successful first online discussion last week involving 50 LTT readers, and on Friday will be holding our next 60-minute conversation, chaired by editor Andrew Forster and introduced with presentations by psychologist and behavioural analyst Cliff Edwards and leading transport modelling and forecasting expert Pilo (Luis) Willumsen.

The theme is: 

THE PSYCHOLOGY OF CHANGE – HOW MIGHT THE COVID-19 EXPERIENCE PROMPT DIFFERENT TRAVEL AND TRANSPORT BEHAVIOUR?

2pm, Friday 24 April

The format will be an informal and friendly gathering on Zoom where some initial thoughts will be put on the table by the speakers, with participants then invited to raise questions and comments. 

We’ll again incorporate an opportunity for some semi-social connections to be made, and for participants to exchange thoughts on how things are working out for them in the current circumstances, and share creative ideas about using online frameworks to help keep us all connected.
